Marigold Kitchen – Madison, WI – 118 S Pickney St
My husband and I have been going to Marigold since they opened. Usually on a Saturday after the farmers market.
Take a fried egg, applewood smoked bacon, use fresh tomato slices, sprinkle on some green onions then spread on the most amazing cheddar-spiked boursin on a toasted ciabatta and you have created the PERFECT breakfast sandwich!! Yum.
Hard to resist. However, I have strayed to other items on the menu. French toast always flavorful. Along with almost any of their pancakes. Which changes, look for the specials on the board.
Oh did I mention the mascarpone that comes with the pancakes? OMG! The flavors change based on the type of pancakes.
Note about long lines at peak times. Worth the wait. Order first, then wait for a table. To date we have never had food ready before we got seated.
